What's up, everyone, and welcome back!
New Show About Sports episode is here and we had to cover all the pressing basketball stories going on right now. What better person to help me do that than the one and only Jarrett L. Spence, who covers the WNBA and NBA through his own social media and newsletter, The Stop & Pop.
We start off the episode with the WNBA to do a "season check-in," if you will, covering topics like:
- MVP & title favorites
- Clark vs Reese battle in this years rookie class
- General narratives surrounding the league
- and more
Then we head over to the other side of the basketball sphere and talk all things NBA offseason by covering topics like:
- NBA draft recap: the picks we liked and didn't like
- Free Agency: discussion around moves / trades already in motion, plus what to expect this upcoming week with free agency kicking off
- Trade Market: who could we see get moved around in the coming days with all the free agency moves, plus looking back on moves that have already taken place
